This role is responsible for collecting and reviewing payment data for gas purchase contracts to ensure accuracy, pursuing collections when necessary, conducting in-depth contract and pricing analysis, updating databases to support contract administration, and building business intelligence reports for management.
- Gathers information from databases and provides the requested analysis.
- Builds models to verify gas settlement statements and to calculate accrual pricing.
- Performs the maintenance and administration of gas contracts in designated region.
- Prepares gas price accruals for the prior month’s production. Provides analysis and explanations for the variances between accruals and actuals.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a similar field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience (preferably in Oil and Gas Marketing).
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
- Knowledge of gas purchase agreements and gas marketing transactions.
- Previous experience with Horizon and/or Allegro.
- SQL proficiency.
- Previous experience with Business Intelligence Software (Spotfire, Power BI, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
