We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sr. Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our metal fabricating facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment critical to our contract manufacturing metal fabrication processes. This includes CNC machines, press brakes, welding equipment, conveyors, and other production systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on fabrication equipment, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and plant infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Machine Installation & Setup: Assist with installation and calibration of new machinery and ensure it meets safety and production requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and work orders using CMMS or manual tracking systems.
- Safety Compliance: Follow and enforce all OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Support Production: Respond promptly to production calls to minimize disruption in the manufacturing process.
Review time and attendance records for more junior Maintenance personnel, adherence to attendance policy, communicate to both Maintenance and Production leads and managers when maintenance issues or staffing disruptions may impact productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
- 5 - 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience manufacturing environment. Experience in a custom job shop metal fabrication environment highly preferred.- Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and welding systems.
