A leading engineering and environmental consulting firm is looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their South Florida team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead complex groundwater and water resource projects, work closely with clients and regulators, and guide the next generation of geoscientists and engineers.
- Lead groundwater and water resource projects, including brackish water supply, aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), indirect potable reuse, and Class I injection well systems.
- Scope and manage drilling programs, aquifer testing, sampling, and geophysical evaluations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of technical reports, proposals, drawings, and regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project design and delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key contact for clients, stakeholders, and agencies.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
- Present project findings at industry meetings and conferences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Geologist (PG) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in groundwater and water resource projects.- Strong background in groundwater supply, permitting, and regulatory processes.
- Hands-on experience with field investigations, drilling programs, and aquifer testing.
- Familiarity with design and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, groundwater modeling software).
- Skilled in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of managing projects and coordinating across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of corrosion-resistant materials, recharge systems, and booster pump stations is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
