Senior HVDC Project Engineering Manager

Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Engineering Manager is accountable for the delivery of the HVDC Product Delivery Group ({PDG) scope of work for a project in strict accordance with the cost, time and technical requirements of that project and in-line with any operational processes that the project may utilise as part of its execution. This shall be achieved through the efficient management of the PDG resources allocated to the project and by the application of the processes coming from the relevant PDG functions, whilst always working in close collaboration with the PDG functional leaders towards the common objective of successful project delivery.

This person is accountable for overall HVDC PDG engineering activities, manages engineering budget, defines the quality plan, implements change management process, supervises and leads all HVDC PDG engineering activities required to execute the project, whether in house or by suppliers/subcontractors. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

The salary range for this position is 122,300.00 - 163,100.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.122,300.00 - 163,100.00 - 203,900.00 USD Annual
