About This Job

At PGE, our work involves dreaming about, planning for, and realizing a smarter, cleaner, more enduring Oregon neighborhood. Its core to our DNA and we haven’t stopped since we started in 1888. We energize lives, strengthen communities and drive advancements in energy that promote social, economic and environmental progress. We’re always on the lookout for people passionate about leading and being a part of teams that are advancing innovative clean energy solutions that are also affordable and accessible to all.

Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in developing and enhancing systems for PGE’s wildfire mitigation program. In this position, you’ll have the unique opportunity to take charge of technical system design, development, and testing, all while shaping the future of this critical program. You’ll be the primary developer on the team, working on impactful projects that directly contribute to protecting communities and supporting our wildfire mitigation efforts.

You’ll be responsible for building systems to improve communication between teams during high-risk weather events, integrating complex data from various sources, and helping create decision support tools that enable consistent and informed actions. As you do this, you’ll also help guide the evolution of the program by setting standards, integrating new technologies, and ensuring our solutions are scalable for future growth.

This role offers a chance to have a real impact by developing systems from the ground up, while also playing a key part in the ongoing maturation of the program. If you’re excited about building something meaningful and contributing to a program that makes a difference, we’d love to have you on our team.
