Overview

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Certified Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and be proficient in working with various materials. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

•

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication.

•

Utilize welding techniques to join metal components securely and effectively.

•

Operate cranes and forklifts for the safe handling and movement of materials.

•

Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in all fabrications.

•

Assemble parts and components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.

•

Employ power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.

•

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Skills

•

High School Graduation or GED

•

Proficient in welding techniques with experience in various welding methods.

•

Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret technical documents.

•

Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.

•

Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements during fabrication tasks.

•

Ability to rig materials effectively for safe handling during assembly processes.

•

Competence in using both power tools and hand tools for fabrication tasks.

•

Solid mechanical knowledge to understand machinery operations and maintenance requirements.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.92-$47.53 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
