Manage the reliability and sustainable growth of the gas distribution system by developing and maintaining long-term plans for system improvement, analyzing the impacts of significant load additions and changes to the distribution system, and managing wintertime customer support activities.

- Open to candidates that live in the following areas: Lehigh Valley, Reading, Middletown, Denver, PA

Duties and Responsibilities

- Complete system analysis related to significant additions or modifications to the gas distribution system and guide scoping and development of improvement projects.

- Develop long term capacity and reliability improvement plans for areas of the distribution system. Coordinate with area Engineering Design teams, M&R Engineering Design and Gas Supply to manage distribution system improvement Master Plans.

- Develop and maintain winter customer support / interruption plans to maintain system reliability during cold weather periods.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

- Advanced use of Synergi application to analyze impacts of changes to hydraulic distribution system and advanced understanding of gas pipeline flow.

- Project leadership skills, training and mentorship skills.

- Long-term planning skills including scoping, organization of phasing, prioritization, and portfolio management.

- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Technical writing skills.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

- 4-5 years’ work experience in a natural gas engineering position, preferred

- EIT / PE License preferred
