Senior Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Pipeline installation Engineer to join our team at our office in Houston Tx on a full time role

What will you be doing?

- Manages a technical scope within the project/tender team with associated engineers and draftsmen

- Manages the technical documentation related to the scope

- Involved in conceptual studies

- Prepares installation procedures and is expected to see those procedure succeed offshore

- Ensures that installation procedures and associated calculations are in line

- Manages interfaces with subcontractors and internal clients

- Ensures that specifications and norms related to the project are respected

- Provides support to offshore operations with likely periods offshore or on yard,

- Participates actively to engineers training and development,

- Participates actively to the PG department know-how consolidation,

- Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction

What experience would we like you to have?

- Minimum 5 years in Offshore oil and Gas

- Preferred Rigid Pipelay installation experience (reel lay, J lay or S lay)

- Positive ‘can do’ attitude and out of the box thinker

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and networking skills

- Adherence to process with the ability to challenge in a proactive manner

- Ability to make informed decisions, document and communicate these decisions clearly and concisely

- Commercially aware

- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage both downward and upward in a team
