The Drupal CMS Architect/Developer will design, develop, and maintain content management solutions for a Digital Transformation Project. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital platforms (Web and Mobile) using the latest version of Drupal, aligned to federal digital standards.
- Develop, configure, and maintain Drupal-based CMS solutions (Web and Mobile) to support interagency recreation platforms.
- Create custom modules, themes, and integrations with external systems (CRM, payment systems, APIs).
- Implement responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into accessible, Section 508-compliant digital experiences.
- Ensure adherence to Digital Services Playbook, 21st Century IDEA, and OMB M-23-22 standards.
- Integrate with enterprise services, identity proofing, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Contribute to open-source repositories per customer requirements.
- Work in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and deliver working code increments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Drupal development (Drupal 9/10 preferred).- Strong proficiency with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and Twig templating.
- Experience with Drupal module development, theming, and site building.
- Familiarity with Acquia, Pantheon, or government-approved Drupal hosting environments.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development.
- Knowledge of Section 508 / WCAG accessibility and FedRAMP/FISMA security practices.
Must be able to attain Public Trust Clearance.
