Purpose of Role:
Under the direction of the VP, Global Supply Chain, the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain partners with all levels of the organization, including executives, to develop, implement, and execute the ESCO Division’s global supply chain function across all regions; which includes business planning; leadership and direction; budgeting; continuous improvement of global supply chain processes; and implementing the global supply chain strategy and vision.
In addition, this role directly supervises global demand planning; inventory planning; planning systems; digital supply chain roadmap and project execution; global FGI levels and governance structure. Oversees global Executive SIOP process as well as supply chain master data governance, systems and analytic teams.Be part of a global organization dedicated to building a better future: At Weir, the growing world depends on us. Key Responsibilities:* Supply Chain Service Metrics: Achieve ESCO’s targeted on-time delivery and other supply chain service metrics by regularly collaborating with regional managing directors to enhance processes and address service needs.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering and a Master’s degree, a plus.
