Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualization to drive strategic decision-making and enhance business performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights that align with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Manage projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of analytics initiatives.

- Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data analysis and modeling.

- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

- Engage in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for analytics projects, ensuring best practices are followed.

- Create database designs that support analytical needs while maintaining data quality standards.

- Utilize SQL for querying databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Talend to extract relevant data for analysis.

- Document processes using Visio to ensure clarity in project workflows.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on analytics.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Talend).

- Experience in programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

- Understanding of Agile project management methodologies.

- Solid background in business analysis with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.

- Knowledge of database design principles and practices.

- Familiarity with Bash (Unix shell) scripting is a plus.
