We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Bids and Tenders team in the Atlanta, GA area. This is an on-site role, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team recognized for delivering large-scale construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role will be responsible for giving inputs to Designers, planning, coordinating, design and coordination of staging, budgeting, tracking and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams, to ensure that the project meets all requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Job Description
•Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
•Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
•Ensure proper planning and timely execution of projects. Including staging and MOT of different stages.
•Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
•Monitor and track project expenses, and implement corrective actions as needed.
•Approve payments and ensure the financial integrity of the project.
•Lead and supervise project teams, including site managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
•Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are adhered to.
•Resolve disputes and issues that arise during the construction phase.
•Ensure that construction work is performed in compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
•Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
•Oversee the testing and inspection of materials and workmanship.
•Review and ensure proper documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance.
•Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, safety hazards, and quality issues.
•Develop contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
•Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
•Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
•Coordinate meetings with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment with project goals.

Required Skills And Competencies
•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
•Proven experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
•Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
•Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership.
•Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
