What You’ll Do:

•

Conduct analyses to support level 1, level 2 assessments of various integrity features (metal loss, crack, dents etc.), including fatigue life assessments.

•

Oversee the trending and quality assurance of in-line inspection tools for crack and corrosion feature detection, and validate findings.

•

Assist in data integration and report preparation for engineering assessments and integrity projects.

•

Coordinate and manage integrity projects, such as ILI assessments and dig programs, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

•

Provide technical input for proposals and solutions, leveraging industry knowledge to add value to projects.

•

Mentor junior personnel to strengthen technical and project management capabilities within the team.

•

Implement quality plans and procedures, contributing to the overall improvement of project delivery and safety compliance.

•

Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

•

Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.

•

Support the development of advanced engineering methods within the scope of our consulting practice.

Qualifications

•

Alberta or BC Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation.

•

10-15 years of work experience related to integrity within the Canadian oil and gas industry

•

Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, fracture mechanics, ferrous metallurgy, NDE techniques and welding

•

Experienced with Canadian and US standards, practices and applicable legislation

•

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technical innovation.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

•

Working knowledge of pipeline/piping codes, including CSA Z662, ASME, API (579, 1163, 1183) codes.
