What You’ll Do:
•Conduct analyses to support level 1, level 2 assessments of various integrity features (metal loss, crack, dents etc.), including fatigue life assessments.
•Oversee the trending and quality assurance of in-line inspection tools for crack and corrosion feature detection, and validate findings.
•Assist in data integration and report preparation for engineering assessments and integrity projects.
•Coordinate and manage integrity projects, such as ILI assessments and dig programs, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
•Provide technical input for proposals and solutions, leveraging industry knowledge to add value to projects.
•Mentor junior personnel to strengthen technical and project management capabilities within the team.
•Implement quality plans and procedures, contributing to the overall improvement of project delivery and safety compliance.
•Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
•Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
•Support the development of advanced engineering methods within the scope of our consulting practice.
Qualifications
•Alberta or BC Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation.
•10-15 years of work experience related to integrity within the Canadian oil and gas industry
•Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, fracture mechanics, ferrous metallurgy, NDE techniques and welding
•Experienced with Canadian and US standards, practices and applicable legislation
•Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technical innovation.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
•Working knowledge of pipeline/piping codes, including CSA Z662, ASME, API (579, 1163, 1183) codes.
