The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining Company aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies, while also adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards.

What you'll do:
•Repairs, replaces, and inspects aircraft engines, flight controls, landing gears, flight and engine instruments (electrical and pneumatic), navigation equipment, radios, radar, aircraft structure (fuselage, wings, tail assembly, etc.), environmental systems (air conditioning, cabin pressurization), hydraulic systems, aircraft interior, and other aircraft systems as required.
•Maintains repair tools and equipment, ensures proper calibration of equipment.
•Ensures that all Company and FAA paperwork is properly submitted and maintained.
•Exercises authority of airman certificate (airframe and power plant) in signing the aircraft maintenance log for airworthiness release or return to service of aircraft, as required by FAA regulations.
•Acts as On-site team leader for Accident Response Plan.
•Responsible for meeting Federal and manufacturer mandated maintenance program requirements with documentation to support it.
•Acts as Security Coordinator for DCA trips originating from the AEP Airport Business Center.
•Reporting to Chief Aircraft Maintenance Technician
•Works within AEPSC to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service
•Performs preflight and postflight inspections and associated servicing
•Performs towing, fueling, and marshalling of company aircraft
•Performs launch and recovery of company aircraft
•Performs preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance and inspections of company aircraft and equipment
•Performs routine cleaning of company aircraft and equipment
•Orders aircraft parts and processes return paperwork
•Maintains fuel farm orders and receives fuel deliveries
•Performs maintenance and upkeep of the general facility and support equipment
•Maintains inventory of rotable components, consumables, and support equipment
•Performs loading and off-loading of passenger luggage at home base
•Must be available for occasional travel
•Must be available for occasional weekend and “off hours”
•Must be available to work a rotating day/evening shift
What we are looking for:
Qualifications:
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent
•Formal maintenance training on AEPSC specific aircraft preferred
•Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
•Valid automobile driver’s license;Valid passport
Experience:
•Six years maintenance experience with high performance turbine aircraft.
•Experience with AEPSC specific aircraft preferred

$46.21-60.07 USD
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
