Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
•Lead the development and submission of air permit applications for a variety of complex facilities.
•Oversee compliance assessments, site inspections, and regulatory reporting.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
•Review and validate emission calculations, including routine operations and non-standard events.
•Develop proposals and scopes of work for air permitting and compliance projects.
•Manage client relationships and contribute to new business development.
•Represent the firm in client meetings and professional forums.
•Ensure adherence to safety protocols and internal quality standards.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•7+ years of experience in air permitting, compliance, or related environmental consulting.
•Strong knowledge of federal and state air regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, PSD, NSR, Title V).
•Proven ability to lead projects and manage client deliverables.
•Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
•Experience with air dispersion modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD, CALPUFF) is a plus.
•Prior consulting experience and business development skills are preferred.
•Familiarity with ESG and sustainability practices is a bonus.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
