The Seismograph Technician conducts on-site vibration and noise measurements by setting up and operating seismographs. This hands-on role includes equipment installation, maintenance, data collection, reporting, and customer interaction, and requires independent work, travel, and professional representation on job sites.
· Set up, install, maintain, and relocate seismographs and related equipment
· Collect, download, and report seismic data accurately
· Support the Area Manager and assist co-workers as needed
· Maintain a professional and courteous presence on-site
· Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening
· U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
· Basic knowledge of seismograph operations and data recording
· Mechanical/electrical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software
· Strong organization, attention to detail, and professionalism
