Seasonal/ Year round Full time and Part time -Answering Phones for Oil Company

FULL TIME /PART TIME Seasonal and Year Round

There are two positions available, one full time and one part time.

Winter hours/days may vary. Schedule can be somewhat flexible.

Summer hours would include Saturday, with one weekday off. Full time position

Very small, busy office for oil/propane company looking for a responsible, reliable candidate that is able to multitask and prioritize heavy work flow in a fast paced and sometimes hectic environment.

Customer service experience is helpful, attention to detail is a must, knowledge of towns in Suffolk County is helpful, basic computer skills, heavy phones with multiple lines.

We are a small, busy office that relies on everyone doing their part and showing up when scheduled. Sometimes long hours may be needed.

Majority of work will be answering phones and taking oil delivery orders. Other duties as assigned.

Experience in oil industry is preferred and helpful but not required.

Willingness to learn is important.

Must to able to speak clearly and hear well, in a sometimes loud environment. It is a very small, loud office.

Must be able to get to office in inclement weather.

Previous office and phone experience preferred.
