Seasonal LPG Transport Driver

AePEX Energy operates a fleet of transport tanker trucks that supplies propane to our Wholesale customers.

We are in need of a seasonal, full-time Transport Driver in our Rosamond, CA location. This position will work some weekends. Some overnight trips possible, as needed. Occasional OTR may be required. The driving route covers California and at times other states as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery or railcar terminals to deliver to customers and branch locations;

· Perform pre and post-trip inspections.

· Attach hoses to the truck connects to pump propane into the tanker truck.

Job Requirements:

· Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials, tanker, and air brakes endorsements. Prefer to have a “Doubles” endorsement but is not required.

· Must have a clean driving record and will need to provide a current DMV printout during the interview process.

· Should have a minimum three years experience preferably in a tanker or Haz-Mat truck.

· Must be flexible with work hours and available to work irregular and long hours, such as nights and weekends (there will not be a set regular work schedule with this position).

· The applicant must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to communicate with management and interact with customers.

· Basic math skills such as division and percentages a must.

- Propane Transport: 3 years (Preferred)

- Tanker : 3 years (Preferred)

- 10 and 13 speed truck: 3 years (Preferred)
