Seasonal Gardeners work as part of a team. The post holder will visit (clients) in their own homes to provide help with garden maintenance tasks.
Seasonal Gardeners are expected to work during the peak gardening season generally from April to October, according to the needs of the service.
*To provide practical, flexible support for clients who are referred to the service.
*To carry out gardening tasks according to clients’ needs and wishes and in accordance with the scope of the service.
* To ensure that all health and safety, lone working and other policies and safeguards are adhered to at all times.
*To ensure all equipment used is in good working order and to report any defects to the client and/or Nu-look Coordinator.
*To maintain accurate and up to date written timesheets including payment records which are delivered to the office daily.
*To handle client money appropriately. Payments are to be returned to the office daily.
*To provide feedback to the Nu-look Coordinator on work carried out for clients.
*To work to ensure the rights, dignity, welfare, confidentiality and privacy of clients is maintained at all times.
*To have a basic awareness of the range of services offered by Nu-Look ltd and to signpost and/or make referrals to other appropriate services as requested by the client.
*To undergo appropriate training as identified with the Nu-Look Coordinator.
*To perform any other duties which the post holder might reasonably be expected to perform commensurate with the skills and role.
