Scaffold Builder

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures that provide safe access for workers and materials at various heights. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

-Proven qualifications and experience in previous level

-Knowledgeable on Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations that regulate the scaffolding industry.

-Able to identify and explain the basic guidelines for planning, erecting, and using scaffolding.

-Knowledgeable of personal protective and life-saving equipment, fall protection, and electrical hazards.

-Understands the proper use of fall protection equipment.

-Knowledgeable of the proper methods of storing, handling, and inspecting scaffolding materials.

-Knowledgeable on the types of loads on scaffold platforms, and is able to calculate loads on scaffold platforms.

-Able to calculate wind loads on specified scaffold configurations.

-Knowledgeable of the safety considerations and components of system scaffolds.

- At least (2) years of experience

Education and Certification

Graduation from high school or possession of a GED

Heavy work - Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects
