Sawmill General Laborer Wanted!

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, contributing to various projects in a dynamic environment. This role involves working with different tools and equipment, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required for material handling

- Including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials

- Utilize CNC saw machines for precision manufacturing processes

- Employ hand tools and power tools for various construction and machining tasks

- Read and interpret blueprints for project specifications

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards

Experience

- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred

- Familiarity with carpentry, woodworking, CNC operations, and machining techniques is advantageous

- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools for accuracy in work

- Experience with construction practices is a plus

- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools safely
