SAW OPERATOR
The Saw Operator at Central Tube and Bar plays a vital role in our manufacturing process by cutting metal tubing, pipe, and bar stock to precise specifications. This position ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and safely, supporting our reputation for quality and on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications:
•
Set up and operate band saws, cold saws, or CNC saws to cut materials according to work orders and blueprints.
•
Read and interpret job tickets to determine cutting dimensions, quantities, and specifications.
•
Measure and inspect cut pieces using tape measures, calipers, and other tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
•
Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including changing blades and cleaning machines.
•
Organize and stage material for upcoming jobs and assist in moving materials as needed.
•
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety rules and procedures.
•
Communicate any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
