Satellite Plant Operator

OPosition Responsibilities:

As a Satellite Plant Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the operations of the satellite plant. This includes circulating well field solutions through the facility to load ion exchange resins. This role is critical to supporting overall mine production and recovery. Candidates must prioritize safety, maintain awareness of potential hazards, and take proactive measures to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Monitoring control computers for well field and plant operations

· Monitoring alarms and responding accordingly

· Maintaining two deep disposal injection wells

· Changing various filters throughout the facility

· Collection of samples

· Completing resin transfers

· Maintenance of PVC piping, mixers, and motors

· Commitment to safety in all aspects of work.

Job Requirements

· This is an hourly position that involves shiftwork. Work schedule is a 12-hour shift (day or night), 4 days on, 4 days off. Overnight accommodations are available to those who choose to stay on site for their 4 days on.

· This position will be expected to work outdoors as necessary in varying weather conditions.

· Job training will be provided

· Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices, and engage in a strong safety culture.

· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

· A valid driver’s license is required.

· Applicants must be able to pass a medical pulmonary function test for respirator usage and must pass a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, as a prerequisite to employment.

Qualifications:

· A high school diploma (GED) and knowledge of basic construction/maintenance skills are required

· A valid driver's license is required

· Must have the ability to safely work independently, as well as part of a team.

· Must have the ability to follow standard operating procedures.

· Basic computer skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.25 per hour
