Role Description

The Sales & Transportation Coordinator will perform core responsibilities such as managing customer orders/quotes/inquires, coordinating transportation logistics for timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position located on-site in our Shakopee, MN office but our office will likely relocate to Burnsville in early 2026. The role involves regular communication with clients and vendors to ensure efficiency in operations while supporting sales and transportation functions for the organization.

Responsibilities

- Serve as main point of contact for customer orders, quotes, and inquiries

- Coordinate daily truck dispatching to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials

- Enter and maintain accurate sales and dispatch data into company systems like JWS

- Communicate with drivers, scale operators, and customers regarding schedules, changes, or delays

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

- Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues proactively

- Support the sales team with lead and follow-ups, account management and reporting

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Operations Management and Transportation Management to efficiently oversee logistics and coordinate deliveries

- Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams

- Excellent Organization Skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and oversee complex transportation and sales operations

- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Proficiency with relevant software and technology platforms is a plus

- Previous experience in the construction, transportation, or logistics industry is advantageous
