GENERAL SUMMARY:
Goshen Stamping is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Representative.
This role is essential in supporting the sales department and handling all aspects of customer service which include but are not limited to: order acknowledgements, order status and expediting, and technical questions. This role will also collaborate with other internal departments such as production and engineering to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting and a strong understanding of order processing and customer service.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Daily processing and management of customer orders with accuracy & efficiency
•Support sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, tracking shipments, and updating customer records
•Inform customers of pricing, ship dates, inventory levels, delays and other additional information as needed
•Maintain updated knowledge of products and communicate to customers as needed
•Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone or email
•Coordinate with internal departments to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
•Monitor and follow up on backorders, returns, and delivery issues
•Ad-Hoc sales reporting as needed
•Address customer technical inquiries as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education Required:
•Prior CLERICAL (Office) Customer Service Experience a plus
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
•Computer skills required
•Accuracy and attention to detail
•Effective management of a high volume of emails and orders
•Organization of many orders in different phases of the order to shipment process
•Retention of details and variables related to systems and products
•Flexibility to change directions and priorities if necessary
•Ability to quickly learn new tasks
•Handle multiple tasks and show attention to detail
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Adhere to structured break and lunch schedules due to heavy phone volume
Reasoning Ability:
•Must have deductive reasoning skills
