Position Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong client relationships within the utility and municipal sectors. This position requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and support the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners.
- Conduct presentations, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to promote NMS services.
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities.
- Represent NMS at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and business development goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the utilities, construction, or engineering industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Willingness to travel within Florida and occasionally outside the state as required.
