This Sales Representative position is responsible for managing the Branded Sales, Marketer business activities within the assigned geographic region. This includes cultivating customer relationships while achieving targeted placement goals for branded gasoline and diesel fuel.
Responsible for all area business activities within assigned geographical regions.
Managing sales by providing support and building relationships with existing and new potential customers.
Developing and cultivating key customer and industry relationships through timely and in-person meetings.
Making sales calls to meet established targets utilizing the SFE process.
Prospecting, developing, and expanding new business and market share.
Assisting with identifying business development growth opportunities with existing customers.
Representing sales by participating on initiative teams as needed.
Accountability for achieving sales, profit, and expense targets.
Interfacing with internal departments creating strong working relationships/efficiencies.
Evaluating opportunities by applying the appropriate economic model.

Must be willing and able to drive up to 60% of the time within assigned region (outside of territory up to an additional 5%)
1 or more years of experience in Marketing, Transportation, Commercial operations, or other relevant experience
1 or more years of experience demonstrating the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
1 or more years of experience demonstrating the ability to positively interact with internal/external customers and establish relationships
Proficient in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure common understanding with multiple levels of management
Proficient with PC applications, MS Office applications, and data management; able to gather and interpret data from separate systems
Results-oriented: experience driving results and delivering real business improvements
Leadership: experience leading, coaching, and developing others to achieve results
Organizational Skills: experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks/issues simultaneously
Project management: has participated in multiple projects or initiatives meeting deadlines
Negotiating skills: experience finding the most profitable way to complete a deal that works for both sides, while building strong, trusting relationships
Strong knowledge of market share, refinery systems, strengths and weaknesses of channels and customers
Self-motivated and able to work independently, without supervision and direction
Influencing others: at least one year of experience working with Influence Management, such as conflict resolution and leading internal/external resources to achieve goals
Strong financial and business acumen. Having previous P&L responsibility or equivalent responsibility in having to interpret financial information and knowing how to react to it
Experience using a CRM such as Safesforce.com or equivalent to manage interactions with customers
Experience consulting and providing expert advice in a specialized field to either internal and/or external clients
Ability to research (concepts, ideas & proven facts)
Previous Sales and or Retail experience or equivalent
Fortitude to challenge the status quo and drive meaningful change when engaging both internally and externally
