Position Summary: Develops sales plans and strategy for active and potential pursuits. Establishes close customer contact to determine customer needs and position the Company to satisfy those needs.
- Targets, fosters and maintains a market leadership position within the product lines. Functions as the liaison with the Basin locations with a focus to strategically grow the business, enabled by technology, and develops the required commercial/technical models, procedures and processes.
Enhances existing and implements new business models that derive maximum benefit based on value.
- Understands the market from a client perspective by engaging the Basin’s.
- Identifies key customers and establish relationships as appropriate, either directly (in case of new technology/processes) or in cooperation with Basin
- Understands the upstream production domain, drilling and completions.
- Ideally has upstream production equipment or related equipment product knowledge.
- Has an awareness of applicable industry standards and codes.
- Understands Midstream, Pipeline and EPC companies.
- Preferred Oil & Gas related experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Demonstrated sales track record in current role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, grow and retain key accounts.
- Capable of identifying, cultivating, and attaining new accounts
- Understands market drivers and how they might impact business.
- Capable of applying sales analytics to set directional account strategies.
- Ideally college degree, engineering, or business (mechanical or Chemical) preferred and/or work experience equivalency.
- Excellent verbal and analytical skills

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Travel 50-60% of the time to visit customers and attend trade shows.
- Preferred to live in TX, but open to other areas.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
