American Custom Closets is a new company specializing in designing, building, and installing storage systems, including closets, garages, pantries, mudrooms, TV entertainment systems, and bathrooms.
We’re looking for a motivated and efficient sales team to offer our wide range of services and products to clients. The Designer-Salesperson will work directly with clients and contractors to assist in the design and product selection process, as well as follow up to ensure projects are completed on time. You’ll need a deep understanding of the products you represent and the ability to meet client needs ethically and effectively.
You will have the support of our marketing campaigns, SEO strategies, paid ads, and many other tools designed to help you convert leads who are already interested in our products into signed contracts—leading to the commissions you’re aiming for. For us, having an experienced individual is essential to successfully closing the deals generated by our marketing efforts and staying motivated in this role.
You will also be responsible for generating sales by identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and seeking new prospects to address their storage needs at home or in the office. This gives you the opportunity to earn bonuses from the customers you bring in on your own. The income ranges ($3,000–$6,000/month and $75,000–$125,000/year) are estimates based on generated sales. Excellent commissions.

* Provide exceptional service by listening to client needs and offering quick, effective design solutions and product recommendations.
* Manage your schedule through our platform and achieve at least 10 sales per month.
* Communicate professionally to establish yourself as an expert advisor.
* Generate the corresponding closings for the leads contacted and interested through our marketing channels by scheduling visits and gathering their design preferences and needs.
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned territory (which will always be near your residence for convenience).
* Implement strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
* Attend trade shows and events to stay informed about product launches and design trends.
* Participate in biweekly meetings to address challenges and celebrate successes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, interior designers, and homeowners.
* Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
* Experience is required so you can understand our product lines, including accessories, closet systems, and finishes.
* Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
* Create simple design plans based on company guidelines (no software expertise required).
* Prepare and present clear and detailed proposals and quotes to clients.
* Collaborate with the design team to create personalized solutions that meet client requirements.
* Effectively manage the sales process, including tracking leads, opportunities, and activities through the our app.
* Follow up with potential clients, B2B, negotiate terms, and close sales in alignment with marketing and financial strategies.
* Work closely with internal teams, including design, installation, and customer service, using established digital channels within the app to ensure a seamless client experience.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial design to installation.
* Provide regular updates to management on project status, sales performance, and customer feedback.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety standards and brand guidelines.
* Be committed to excellence, growth, and positively impacting the community through support and sponsorship programs.
* Proven track record in sales, as we want you to succeed and manage your time effectively. Experience in closets, cabinetry, or similar industries,
* Ability to work independently, be proactive, and manage time efficiently.
* Initiative, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to ensure high-quality client results.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
* A degree in business, marketing, interior design, or a related field is not required but is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in this industry.
* Marketing and social media experience is an advantage.
