Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment on job sites by implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and providing training. This position requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and practices, particularly those outlined by OSHA and other relevant organizations.

•

Must have 2-5 years experience working in a safety role.

•

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

•

Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Duties

•

Travel throughout assigned area to conduct job site inspections for OSHA and company policy compliance.

•

Investigate reported or potential incidents involving injury or property damage.

•

Deliver consistent, high-quality safety compliance training.

•

Promote adherence to safe work practices across construction, service and data teams.

•

Manage documentation, including audits, tool box talks, signage, and safety inspections-ensuring all records are uploaded timely.

•

Oversee fleet services and assigned safety equipment administration.

•

Serve as a communication Liaison between job sites and leadership, presenting to large and small groups as needed.

•

Support Safety program and report directly to the Safety Manager.

•

Essential Duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

•

Proficiency in using safety management software for tracking safety compliance and incidents.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite to include but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

•

Familiarity with occupational health standards relevant to oilfield environments.

•

Effectively work outdoors while wearing the required PPE (ex. hard hat, flame resistant clothing, and safety toed footwear) for the location.

•

Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of common hazards.

•

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and the ability to apply them effectively.

•

Periodically climb ladders and stairs to elevated platforms/walkway.

•

Must possess technical aptitude and strong communication and written skills.
