The successful candidate will work in all areas of the DeSoto Rotor Value Stream performing build and balance operations. The individual will work independently and with other team members to produce high quality material to be used in an assembly process and or in a support role.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. - 1+ years hands-on mechanical / turbo machinery experience. - 6+ months of experience operating shop equipment including bench tools, hand tools and inspection equipment (micrometers).

- Basic computer skills.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

- Willing to work overtime and weekends.

- Flexibility to change shifts and job assignments to meet production requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment - 2+ Years Gas Turbine Experience

- A&P License

- 6+ months of experience using balance machines.

- Willing to take initiative to improve quality while reducing costs and cycle times.

- Must be able to communicate effectively within a cross-functional environment.

Summary Pay Range:

$51,674.00 - $77,510.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
