Robotic Weld Operator Location: Waukegan Shift: 2nd shift 3:30PM - 2:00AM Monday - Thursday Pay: $17 - $25/hour based on experience

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to operate robotic welding equipment. This role includes loading and unloading materials, monitoring weld quality, and ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Load, unload, and operate robotic welding systems to meet production requirements.

- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

- Operate tools and measuring equipment, such as grinders and calipers.

- Monitor weld quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

- Accurately record production data in the ERP system.

- Follow company quality and safety policies.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and a strong work ethic while supporting a respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Robotic welding experience or completion of a 4-year program at an accredited robotic welding institution.

- Proficiency in blueprint reading.

- Knowledge of weld symbols.

Preferred:

- Experience in metal fabrication.

Language Skills

- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, product specifications, data sheets, and procedure manuals.
