Robot Technician 2nd Shift

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and manufacturing, with expertise in programming and maintaining robotic systems. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our automated processes, contributing to our commitment to high-quality production standards.

Duties

- Assist engineers with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting of production machinery, stamping presses, and assembly automation equipment.

- Learn basic operation and adjustment of Fanuc robots, PLC-controlled devices, and camera inspection systems.

- Support preventive maintenance by performing visual inspections, cleaning, and documenting basic equipment conditions.

- Collect production data (cycle times, scrap rates, downtime events) and enter into reporting systems.

- Assist in fabrication or modification of jigs, fixtures, guards, and tooling under close supervision.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and updates to equipment logs.

- Participate in 5S activities and basic continuous improvement projects.

- Follow all plant safety policies, PPE requirements, and IATF/ISO quality system procedures.

Requirements

- Proven experience in robotics, particularly with Fanuc systems.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in manufacturing environments.

- Proficient in robot programming and operation of vision inspection systems.

- Experience with distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.

- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
