RMD/Fluxcore Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards in a construction or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.

- Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

- Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance.

- Operate cranes and forklifts for material handling as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

- Assist in rigging and assembly tasks as required.

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding with a focus on MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW techniques.

- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.

- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, machining, soldering, ductwork, and pipe threading.

- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.

- Experience operating press brake machines and plasma cutting equipment is a plus.

- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
