You and the role

We are recruiting for our Offshore Maintenance Team. If you hold the necessary training and qualifications for Mechanic we invite you to submit a detailed Resume outlining your professional history to our Job Advert.

Primary responsibilities

Our Rig Mechanic will form a large part of our Offshore Maintenance Team and will require experience utilising a computerised maintenance management system including preventive, predictive and condition monitoring. Have experience in the repair and maintenance of Drill Package equipment, including Drilling equipment machining and laser alignment.

Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have held the position for 3- 5 five years and have a total of 5 years’ experience working in an offshore environment on Drilling Platforms, Semi Submersibles 5th/6th Generation Drill ships and or Jack-Ups. Mechanised Semi-Automated controlled drilling equipment experience would be a definite asset.

Minimum qualifications

Successful candidate will hold a Journeyman Millwright Certification and be required to read relevant technical drawings and specifications and have experience with the development of technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
