Position Summary:•This position is responsible for restoration work after gas installations are completed.
Responsibilities:
•Restoration Laborers/Drivers restore lawn, blacktop, concrete, and asphalt after excavation for gas work is complete. Will drive a dump truck pulling a trailer.
•Must operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws.
•Must perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles, such as checking oil, water and tires. Report irregularities to supervisor and/or shop supervisor.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one (1) prior driving experience required.
•Valid NYS CDL-B required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Knowledgeable in operation of wide range of construction equipment.
•Knowledgeable and able to demonstrate proper load securement.
•NYSDOT and FMSCA regulations knowledge and compliance are essential.
•Ability to understand and follow instructions.
•Good decision-making ability.
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Ability to concentrate and maintain focus.
•Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands.
Compensation::
•$23-$28 per hour based on experience plus prevailing wage work
