Nous recherchons un Responsable de la Santé et de la Sécurité expérimenté pour développer, mettre en œuvre et superviser toutes les politiques et procédures de santé et de sécurité au sein de notre organisation. Le candidat idéal aura une solide expérience en gestion de la santé et de la sécurité au travail, de préférence dans les secteurs des refroidisseurs ou de la CVC, ainsi qu'une connaissance approfondie des réglementations en matière de sécurité au Québec, au Canada et aux États-Unis.


Responsabilités:

Développement et Mise en Œuvre des Politiques

Développer et mettre à jour les politiques de santé et de sécurité en conformité avec la CNESST, l'OSHA et d'autres réglementations pertinentes.

Mettre en œuvre des programmes et initiatives de sécurité pour promouvoir une culture de sécurité dans les deux établissements.

Évaluation et Gestion des Risques

Réaliser des inspections régulières des lieux de travail et des évaluations des dangers dans les installations de Montréal et de Plattsburgh.

Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies d'atténuation des risques adaptées à chaque site.

Formation et Éducation

Organiser et animer des sessions de formation en santé et sécurité pour tous les niveaux de personnel au Canada et aux États-Unis.

S'assurer que les employés connaissent les protocoles de sécurité et les procédures d'urgence spécifiques à leur emplacement.

Gestion des Incidents

Enquêter sur les accidents, incidents et quasi-accidents dans les deux sites.

Préparer des rapports détaillés et recommander des mesures correctives.

Conformité Réglementaire

Rester informé des changements dans la législation en matière de santé et de sécurité tant au Québec/Canada qu'à New York/États-Unis.

Communiquer avec les organismes de réglementation et représenter l'entreprise lors des inspections et audits.

Préparation aux Urgences

Développer et maintenir des plans d'intervention d'urgence pour les deux installations.

Coordonner des exercices d'urgence réguliers et assurer la préparation.

Rapport et Documentation

Maintenir des enregistrements précis des incidents, inspections et formations pour les deux lieux.

Fournir des rapports réguliers à la direction sur la performance en matière de santé et de sécurité.

Collaboration

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les départements des opérations, de l'ingénierie et des ressources humaines dans les deux sites.

Promouvoir les meilleures pratiques en matière de sécurité dans toute l'organisation.

Voyages

Des déplacements réguliers entre Montréal et Plattsburgh sont requis.


Qualifications:

Éducation

Diplôme de baccalauréat en santé et sécurité au travail, ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.

Les certifications telles que CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) et/ou CSP (Certified Safety Professional) sont très souhaitables.

Expérience

Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de santé et sécurité dans le secteur industriel.

Une expérience dans l'industrie des refroidisseurs ou du CVC est un atout.

Expérience avérée dans la gestion de programmes de santé et de sécurité dans des juridictions canadiennes et américaines.

Connaissances

Compréhension approfondie des règlements québécois en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail (CNESST) et des normes OSHA aux États-Unis.

Familiarité avec les systèmes de gestion de la santé et de la sécurité au travail ISO 45001.

Compétences

Solides compétences en leadership et en organisation.

Excellentes compétences en communication en français et en anglais.

Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et des logiciels de gestion de la sécurité.

Capacité à analyser des situations complexes et à développer des solutions pratiques.

Volonté et capacité de se déplacer régulièrement entre les sites.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee all health and safety policies and procedures within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial health and safety management, preferably within the chiller or HVAC industries, and a deep understanding of Québec, Canadian, and U.S. safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Policy Development and Implementation
+ Develop and update health and safety policies in compliance with CNESST, OSHA, and other relevant regulations. + Implement safety programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety across both locations.
Risk Assessment and Management
+ Conduct regular workplace inspections and hazard assessments at both the Montréal and Plattsburgh facilities. + Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to each site.
Training and Education
+ Organize and conduct health and safety training sessions for all staff levels in both Canada and the U.S. + Ensure employees are aware of safety protocols and emergency procedures specific to their location.
Incident Management
+ Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses at both sites. + Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance
+ Stay updated on changes to health and safety legislation in both Québec/Canada and New York/USA. + Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company during inspections and audits.
Emergency Preparedness
+ Develop and maintain emergency response plans for both facilities. + Coordinate regular emergency drills and ensure readiness.
Reporting and Documentation
+ Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training for both locations. + Provide regular reports to senior management on health and safety performance.
Collaboration
+ Work closely with operations, engineering, and HR departments across both sites. + Promote safety best practices throughout the organization.
Travel
+ Regular travel between Montréal and Plattsburgh is required.

Qualifications:


Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. + Certifications such as CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) and/or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are highly desirable.
Experience
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the industrial sector. + Experience in the chiller or HVAC industry is an asset. + Proven experience managing health and safety programs in both Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions.
Knowledge
+ In-depth understanding of Québec occupational health and safety regulations (CNESST) and U.S. OSHA standards. + Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Skills
+ Strong leadership and organizational skills. + Excellent communication skills in both French and English. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software. + Ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions. + Willingness and ability to travel between locations regularly.
