Residential Solar Installer

Job description

- Perform installations including rooftop/ and or ground mounted PV arrays

- Candidate must have experience in flat and tilt mounted rail systems along with top mount and shared rail systems

- Must have experience in roof wiring, grounding and installing micro inverters

- Perform construction of ground mount structure and rail system

- Work must be completed according to plan requirements

- Must maintain a clean and safe working environment and have an attention to detail

- Must have a clean, professional appearance and be able to communicate with customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate must have a minimum 6 months of PV experience and be familiar with NEC requirements related to PV installs

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

- Must have clean driving record, provide own transportation and have appropriate tools

- Candidate will be asked to provide references and be able to verify work history

- Must be comfortable working on 2+ story roofs and be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs

- Must be familiar with OSHA and personal fall safety equipment

- Must be well organized and able to meet aggressive timelines

- Willing and able to work in extreme environments such as; extreme heat/ cold, direct sunlight for extended periods, attics and crawl spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour
