Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mineral engineering or metallurgical engineering.

Job Title: Scientist (Individual Contributor)– Separation Technology

Minimum Degree Required to Qualify for Job Interview: Bachelor’s Degree

Area of Specialization for Degree: Mining and Mineral Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field

Job Description: You will contribute to the process development of extraction and separation of metals from unconventional sources and recycled materials. You will collaborate with a team of experts to drive research and development projects, troubleshoot complex metallurgical challenges, and contribute to the advancement of our innovative technologies.

Responsibility

•

Conduct laboratory-to-pilot scale experiments to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of proposed methods, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

•

Analyze data and experimental results to improve extraction methods, increase recovery rates, and minimize environmental impact.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and scale up innovative technologies for critical metals extraction and purification.

•

Provide metallurgical expertise to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in industrial settings.

•

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.

Job requirements:

•

Bachelor’s/Master's/PHD degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on extractive metallurgy.

•

5 years of experience in the related field, experience in an industrial R&D laboratory is preferred.

•

Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, process modeling, and analytical techniques. Proficiency in laboratory and pilot-scale experimentation.

•

Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

•

Ability to understand the purpose and underlying ideas in experiments & contribute with innovative ideas on project work.

•

Fully on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
