Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, you will be part of the Mill Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
•Oversee condition monitoring activities related to all Mine Maintenance equipment
•Champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime
•Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment
•Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness
•Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment issues and systemic problems
•Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications
•Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedure
•Establish preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and increase equipment availability
•Prepare regular reports and presentations on reliability performance, highlighting areas for improvement and recommendations for action
•Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for failures
•Lead the Bad Actors Program and support with root cause analysis investigations
•Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts to identify and eliminate the causes of equipment failures
•Create and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports
•Perform QA/QC assessments to identify gaps and implement control measures for correcting deviations from procedures
•Review, maintain, improve equipment maintenance strategies
•Track and analyze equipment performance data, failure trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess asset health, maintenance effectiveness, and reliability of critical assets
•Support Component Replacement (PCR), budgeting, forecasting & LOM processes, including corrective maintenance costs, long-term planning, and life cycle cost analysis
•Work with OEM and other sites to establish benchmark on major components
What You Need To Succeed
•Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
•Professional designation is preferred
•Proficiency in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data and systems improvement
•Proven experience in analyzing maintenance data
•Excellent analytical and prioritization skills
•Experience with equipment reliability programs is an asset
•Exposure to project management techniques
•Experience with Mobile fleet and Fixed Equipment
•Familiarity with asset management processes
•Strong business acumen and intermediate to advanced level knowledge of PI Vision/Historian and SAP
•Expertise in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and root cause analysis (RCA)
•Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
