Overview
The Regional EHS Advisor will be responsible for advancing Maviro’s EHS vision across the region, building a case for change, and securing the regional management team’s full commitment. This role includes building and leading a high-performance team that supports corporate, regional, and local business objectives. The Regional EHS Advisor will implement Maviro's EHS management systems, audit for conformance, and ensure effective collaboration across internal functions, engaging with key stakeholders to meet corporate goals.
Duties
•Build Strategic Alliances: Create a network of internal and external partnerships to foster a world-class EHS culture across Maviro.
•Implement and Improve Systems: Facilitate the consistent implementation and continuous improvement of Maviro's EHS management systems, ensuring alignment with future business acquisitions and regional start-ups.
•Drive Cultural Buy-In: Develop strategies to motivate employees and influence a sustained buy-in to Maviro's cultural vision.
•KPI Compliance: Facilitate compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned Business Units.
•Develop Safety Initiatives: Collaborate with other Regional EHS Advisors to design safety initiatives, training programs, and campaigns that prevent injury and ensure compliance with all federal, provincial/state, and local regulations.
•Incident Response Availability: Maintain availability to respond by phone in the event of incidents or emergencies occurring during active operations. Serve as an immediate point of contact to guide initial response efforts, provide EHS expertise, and coordinate with management and site leadership as needed to ensure timely and effective handling of events.
•Standardize Metrics and Communication: Work alongside other Regional EHS Advisors to develop standardized metrics and a unified communication protocol using Maviro's EHS Management System Software (EHS Insight).
•Regulatory Awareness: Stay current on regulations which may impacts operations, safe work practices, and EHS initiatives, advising management on necessary compliance actions.
•Incident Management: Ensure consistent incident management practices across the region through detailed incident reporting, investigation, trend analysis, and communication.
•Regulatory Liaison: Act as a liaison with government officials on compliance issues.
•Customer Relations: Address EHS-related items with external customers to support Maviro’s commitment to safety and compliance.
•Audit Program Oversight: Manage and oversee the Management System Audit Program for the region.
•Staff Management: Conduct performance reviews and salary administration for assigned direct reports.
•Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Qualifications
•Education: Associate’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
•Certifications: EHS-related professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CHST, OHST) are desirable.
•Knowledge and Experience: Strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, DOT requirements, and workers' compensation laws, with experience in training development related to workplace safety highly desirable.
•EHS Experience: 4+ years of EHS experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or corporate role with staff management responsibilities.
•Software Skills: Proficiency in safety management software and tools.
Work Environment and Travel
•Position based in Mandan, ND office.
•Travel up to 25% to regional facilities and customer sites.
•Regional support locations include Billings, MT, Mandan, ND, Virginia, MN, Fridley, MN, Pryor, OK, and Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
