As a Refinery Facilities Technician, you will be an integral part of our Refining & Supply Operations team. Your goal will be to perform general refinery technician duties and handle all materials from crude oil to refined products.

Your Responsibilities:
•Prepare equipment for light maintenance work; complete the work as required
•Prepare work orders, hot work, and fresh air permits
•Assist senior facilities technicians on complex tasks as an apprentice, e.g. the planned shutdown of a unit
•Perform routine tasks under the guidance of a senior facility technician, e.g. monitor levels, temperatures, and pressures within various units to ensure equipment is functioning at peak efficiency
•Perform general refinery technician duties as required to learn refinery processes
•Collect samples, monitor, and test products to ensure quality meets required specifications
•Actively participate in housekeeping activities
Your Skills:
•Ability to think, solve problems, and troubleshoot issues within process operations
•Strong Communication skills is critical
•Able to bend, stoop, crawl, lift up to 40lbs, enter confined spaces, and climb ladders up to 50 feet
Your Experience:
•Post-secondary education in Process Controls, Process Engineering, Engineering Technology, apprenticeship in a Trade or technical role
•Mechanical background and aptitude
•3+ years of work experience
