The Fuel Service Technician reports directly to the Facilities Manager and supports operations through a variety of means such as maintaining and servicing fuel service systems and conducting electrical and mechanical work to new and ongoing projects throughout the state of Alaska.
The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and good attention to detail.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Visual Acuity: must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but may be loud on occasion requiring the use of ear protection. Work is usually done in an industrial setting; warehouse or shop and sometimes out-of-doors in inclement weather conditions requiring the use of personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to; a reflective vest, steel toed boots, and safety glasses with side shields. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment.
The employee must be able to physically travel by air within, and out of, the State of Alaska.
