We are looking for a customer-centric, detail-orientated individual to join our growing HR Recruitment team. Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, the Recruiting Assistant will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and talented professionals and take part in interesting and challenging work assignments. - Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday to Friday)

- Provide full range of administrative support to the Recruitment team
- Respond to recruitment procedures and process related inquires while maintaining compliance with all applicable guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards
- Represent Canadian Natural in a professional manner when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide full cycle recruitment processes (Pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extend offer letters, prepare new hire packages, documentation etc.)
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with recruiters, and other HR professionals
- Review and approve new hire / re-hire submissions and onboarding packages/documents
- Support candidates and internal stakeholders while managing a high volume of confidential information
- Collaborate with internal departments and external providers to ensure all appropriate steps have been completed for candidate’s start date
- Respond to candidate requests and resolving or routing appropriately
- Maintain confidential files, records and databases related to Human Resources
- Various HR administrative duties and special assignments as required
- Diploma or degree in Business/Commerce, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or Education preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources or recruitment support role considered an asset
- Familiarity with and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power Point
- Working knowledge of Adobe
- Previous experience working in an applicant tracking system; Oracle Cloud Recruiting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines under time constraints
