What’s the Job Like?

As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience while managing sign-ins, overseeing safety protocols, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. This role also supports the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks requiring attention to detail and adherence to processes. Additionally, the Receptionist serves as a key support for the Cedar Park team, assisting with scheduling, supply purchasing, and general office needs with a proactive and can-do attitude. Organization and initiative are critical to success in this role. This role is onsite, Monday through Friday.


Reception Responsibilities

Greeting persons entering the establishment, determining the nature and purpose of their visit, and directing or escorting them to specific destinations.
Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
Maintaining lobby and reception area.
Collecting, sorting, distributing, or preparing mail, messages, or courier deliveries
Manage front desk mail and package handling in an organized manner


Accounts Payable Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming invoices with strong attention to detail
Maintain precise and organized records of all transactions
Identify and communicate invoice discrepancies by communicating with buyers and suppliers


Administrative Responsibilities

Transmit information or documents to customers via e-mail or traditional mail
Assist in arranging and coordinating conference rooms, team lunches, catering, and other needs for internal teams
Support office and breakroom supply purchasing
Support 5S initiatives within the facility
Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned.
Adhere to all NOV company policies and HSE procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Competency in Microsoft Outlook & Excel
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/Kofax and DocuSign (preferred)
2 years of administrative/office support experience (preferred)
Experience in Purchasing and/or Accounts Payable (preferred)
Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP (preferred)
