Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title:

Description: We are seeking a skilled Mixer Truck Driver to join our ready mix concrete team. As a Mixer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready mix concrete to both commercial and residential construction sites. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and strong driving skills will contribute to the success of our concrete delivery operations.

Hours: Average 10 Hours a Day (Approximately April – December, in season)

Reporting: Dispatch

Essential Duties:

· Safely operate a ready mix concrete mixer truck.

· Follow established routes and schedules for efficient delivery.

· Maintain communication with dispatchers and team members.

· Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

· Complete accurate and timely delivery tickets and paperwork.

· Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner

· Maintain clear and open communication with dispatchers, site personnel, and other team members.

· Follow established routes and schedules for timely and efficient delivery of ready mix concrete to construction sites.

Education/Experience:

· Previous experience as a mixer truck driver in the ready mix concrete industry is preferred.

· Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

· Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.

· Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
