Position Overview: Reactor Coolant Pump Technician – Contract for Fall Outage 2025 - Madison, PA

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse is looking for an experienced Reactor Coolant Pump Technician for Fall outage work. The Reactor Coolant Pump Technician will be responsible for performing assignments in support of RCP field services, equipment turnaround coordination and activities, and intermittent shop support. Ensure safe operation of reactor and auxiliary equipment in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations.

What your day-to-day looks like:

•

Lead teams through field and headquarters reactor coolant pump (RCP), motor (RCPM), and seal maintenance tasks.

•

Set the example of being an exemplary crew member (a good follower) as well as a selfless leader while performing assignments in support of RCP field services, equipment turnaround coordination and activities, and intermittent shop support.

•

Service and support scopes will include but are not limited to RCPM preventative maintenance checks and services, cartridge and conventional seal maintenance, RCP motor and pump changeouts, and field services equipment inventory and refurbishment.

•

Perform nuclear service functions of a similar nature as directed.

What we need to see from you:

•

High school education, preferably a combination of education and experience in the field of Reactor Coolant Pump operation, maintenance as well as repair.

•

Demonstrate skills in the competency area of nuclear equipment services, and/or demonstrate knowledge of one of the following disciplines: Electrical Repair, Machinist, and Mechanic.

•

The ability to work shifts and overtime as required.

•

The ability to pass background screening, drug test and be deemed trustworthy and reliable.

•

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position including routinely lift and transport of 40 pounds, frequently bend and stoop, stand and walk for 4-6 hours per day.

•

Position may be subject to the requirements of both Westinghouse and customer "Security" and "Fitness for Duty" programs.
