This is a paid position with on-the-job training, paid testing, and full support to help you earn the certifications required to become a Rail Terminal Operator. No prior certifications or industry experience are required—we’re willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
As a Rail Terminal Operator, you'll be part of a team that plays a vital role in keeping Maine families warm and businesses running. You’ll:
•Work outdoors year-round, connecting and offloading railcars carrying propane.
•Monitor inventory, operate equipment, and help maintain our Waterville Rail Terminal.
•Float between the rail yard and our LP filling stations, assisting with propane exchange tank filling, loading, and minor repairs—supporting our growing propane exchange program.
•Operate various equipment, including forklifts, snowplows, and industrial lift trucks.
•Support daily facility maintenance and upkeep—from painting and greasing pumps to lawn care and snow removal.
•Perform other duties as assigned to support terminal operations and company-wide needs.
