We are searching for a Radiation Protection Analyst on behalf our client. This is a 3 month contract assignment. (W-2)
The Radiation Protection Analyst will support the Radiation Protection Department by providing training and qualification oversight for newly hired Radiation Protection Technicians. This temporary role focuses on hands-on instruction, mentorship, and evaluation to ensure technicians gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for full shift qualification.
• Deliver structured on-the-job training (OJT) in accordance with site procedures and qualification guides.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to new technicians during field activities.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure readiness for independent shift duties.
• Reinforce radiation protection policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with RP supervision and training personnel to monitor trainee progress and recommend qualification readiness.
• Prior experience as a Radiation Protection Technician or Analyst at a commercial nuclear facility.
• In-depth knowledge of radiological protection fundamentals, controls, and monitoring techniques.
• Familiarity with St. Lucie plant procedures and RP qualification processes is preferred.
