PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ability to work unsupervised.
•First piece and In-process inspection of Prototype and Production products.
•Generate Dimensional and Inspection documentation results and have the ability to determine compliance to Skyway and/or Customer requirements.
•Conduct part layout and complete dimensional documentation for Customer PPAP submissions including Capability requirements.
•Utilize alternative layout techniques as required to verify CMM results.
•Must have basic knowledge of GD&T, Blueprint reading skills and both Skyway and Customer specific Quality and Engineering Standards.
•Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control and data collection techniques required for data analysis.
•Perform MSA and GR&R studies as required.
•Basic knowledge of CNC Manufacturing techniques. (Fixturing, Process, Cast Products)
•Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Minitab.
•Use of micrometers, calipers and height stands, profilometers.
•Use of optical comparators, radius gages, plug and thread gages, bore and beam gages.
•Basic maintenance of gages (cleaning, indicator exchange, setting and verification)
•Ability to use GAGEpack to track gaging and maintain Gage calibration records.
•Perform production layer checks, line inspection, receiving inspection, STP, final inspection, and final shipping dock inspections as necessary.
•Perform layered process audits as scheduled.
•Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).
•Follow general safety rules and Company policies and procedures.
•Perform Special Assignments as delegated.
